Minimum Requirements

Minimum system requirements for Learners:

• CPU: 266MHz or higher.
• RAM: 32MB or higher.
• Browser: Internet Explorer 6 or higher, Firefox 2.0 or higher.
  Adobe Flash Player may or may not be required, depending on the features authors chose to use in each course. The following features require Flash: Mind Games, Shapes, FLV/MP3.
• OS: Any OS capable of running one of the abovementioned browsers, including Windows 95/98/2000/XP/2003/Vista, Mac OS X, Linux.

Minimum system requirements for Authors:

• CPU: 800MHz or higher.
• RAM: 128MB or higher.
• OS: Windows 98/2000/XP/2003/Vista.
• Browser: Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.
  Adobe Flash Player may or may not be required, depending on the features authors plan to use in courses. The following features require Flash: Mind Games, Shapes, FLV/MP3.

Minimum server requirements:

• CPU: 1GHz or higher.
• RAM: 512MB or higher.
• OS: Windows 2000/XP Pro/2003/Vista/2008.
• Web Server: Internet Information Services (IIS) 5 or higher.
• Database: SQL Server 2000 or higher, or MSDE / SQL Server Express 2005/2008 (does not require SQL Server license).
• Additional: Internet Explorer 6 or higher (required for scripting engine).
