Composica and Sky Training celebrate a year of partnership

Composica is celebrating the end of the first year of partnership with Sky Training - our partner in Israel.

Sky Training is a consultancy company that develops e-learning courses for companies from a wide spectrum and also provides e-learning solutions and support for those that wish to develop their own courses. Sky Training endeavours to find and deliver the best e-learning solution to each of their clients.

Composica's partnership with Sky Training has been extremely fruitful, and we decided to conduct an interview with Michal Frid Naftali, the company's CEO, to find out about her experiences with Composica Enterprise.

The Interview:

  • Q: After a year of working with Composica, how do you find it?

M: The partnership with Composica opened wonderful business opportunities for Sky Training. Composica Enterprise is a complimentary and enriching product among the other solutions that we offer. It enables us to create complete solution packages without any compromise on quality or comfort.

  • Q: Has your impression of Composica Enterprise changed through the time you've been working with it?

M: Only for the better. When I first saw Composica Enterprise I was impressed as a content developer who had no programming skills. But as time passes and I receive feedback from more and more clients, it reinforces my first impression and makes me even happier with it.

Also, the application, which was very good in the first place, has improved throughout the year. It is very helpful to have such a great development team that listens and improves where asked.

  • Q: How does Composica Enterprise fit with other products you sell?

M: Composica Enterprise fits beautifully with our other solutions from two directions.

Learning Management Systems - We tested its compatibility with the LMS that we market - EKP, and with other popular enterprise-class LMS solutions, such as SAP and Oracle iLearning. They all worked smoothly and functioned very well as a package.

Embedded Media - Composica Enterprise is a platform where all sorts of media can be interlaced, such as Video and Flash animations. We market applications that create these kinds of media and they can be woven into perfect solution packages where needed.

  • Q: Why did you choose Composica Enterprise to fill that niche?

M: Simply put, Composica Enterprise is the best in its field in every aspect. That can be seen in its collaborative abilities and in the richness and flexibility of development without need for programming. It is extremely cost effective and can be easily used by developers who have no programming skills - a much wider client base for us!

  • Q: How do you sell the application?

M: The selling process is made of three major parts:

    1. Initial demonstration at a client meeting (all details about the application and purchase process are given here).
    2. Experimentation with a trial version (either online or with a trial installation for companies with confidential material)
    3. Preliminary guidance for operation of the application.

Once the sale is made we offer excellent support and guidance to clients. Our support team gives the clients a great sense of confidence.

  • Q: What kind of companies do you think Composica Enterprise would be most beneficial for?

M: Composica Enterprise is suitable for any organization that wants to collect, organize and spread its knowledge. Our current business successes are with organizations that have the awareness and openness to e-learning development. A combination between will and need for the courses and the openness to the e-learning development is needed for this.

The size of the company and the industry it is from are irrelevant. Composica Enterprise is so flexible that it really suits everyone. In Israel we have clients from the telecom, banking, financial, commerce, governmental, business consultancy industries and more.

  • Q: How beneficial would it be for academic and educational institutions?

M: If the institution develops e-learning - Composica Enterprise is suitable. One of our strategic clients is the colleges' e-learning organization, Mofet, which includes 30 colleges. This organization uses Composica Enterprise with lecturers that then take it to their own colleges and universities.

Although e-learning hasn't yet infiltrated into the school system here, I can see a potential in school chains. We have a few here and they would certainly be able to benefit from Composica Enterprise.

  • Q: What are the most common comments from Composica Enterprise users?

M: Most of the comments are about how creative the application is and what fantastic return on investment it offers. Clients appreciate the collaborative side of the work and the lack of programming.

There are several principles that are different between Microsoft Office and Composica Enterprise, and in some cases it takes some getting used to these to really enjoy the full capacity of the application. Once the clients internalize these principles, the enthusiasm grows even bigger. Today our challenge is to minimize the length of time it takes to get authors to fully understand these.

  • Q: How do you find Composica's technical support services?

M: Composica's technical support services are extraordinary! I don't have enough good words to praise it. On all aspects: Speed of response, professionalism, approach and manner towards the reseller. There are not enough good words to describe how wonderful they are.

  • Q: How would you summarize your experiences with Composica?

M: Composica Enterprise certainly opened new business possibilities, expanded our product basket and started a back wind in the Israeli market that was thirsty for innovation and quality solutions that will allow professional, creative development. The full collaboration and dedicated, excellent support made the product penetrate into the market at a speed and virtually 'conquer' it within a year. This brings a lot of satisfaction!
